    Joe Fuld, Founder
    Joe Fuld has been fighting for causes and campaigns for the past 20 years. Joe has worked for a long list of clients, including the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, the California Nurses Association, Defenders of Wildlife, D.C. Vote, the Human Rights Campaign Fund, as well as many other groups, candidates and ballot measures.

    Prior to becoming a political consultant, Joe served as the Northeast Political Director at the DNC in 1996, and between 1991 and 1995 managed 10 political campaigns throughout the country.

    Sophie Thurber, Senior Account Manager
    Before joining The Campaign Workshop, Sophie worked for Joe at MSHC Partners over the course of the 2008 election cycle. She worked with clients including Defenders of Wildlife, American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, LIUNA, the California Nurses Association, Julia Boseman for State Senate, Majority Action, D.C. Vote and many others.

    Sophie graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in government. She went on to earn a Master's degree in political theory from the London School of Economics.

    Margo Scott, Account Manager
    Before joining The Campaign Workshop in 2010, Margo worked for the Close Up Foundation in Government Relations. Over the 2008 election cycle, she worked at Compass Media Group in Chicago for various clients, including Larry Galizio for State Rep, Denny Doyle for Beaverton Mayor, SEIU, CWA, Planned Parenthood of Oregon and the League of Conservation Voters. Before that, Margo volunteered for local Chicago races.

    Margo graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in social policy and gender studies.

    Michele Hermanson Chaves, Production Manager
    Michele Hermanson Chaves has been with The Campaign Workshop since 2009 and been a printing and graphic arts professional for nearly 20 years. After moving to the Washington, D.C. area in the early 90s, she became a production manager for several award-winning graphic design and political consulting firms including MSHC Partners. She has coordiniated millions of pieces of direct mail for non-profit groups political organizations and candidates.

    Michele has also worked on her own freelance graphic design projects for clients such as The Textile Museum, American University, D.C. Office of Human Rights and Planned Parenthood.

    Lizzie Kendrick, Online Media Director
    Prior to joining The Campaign Workshop, Lizzie Kendrick was the Deputy Director of Online Marketing at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. During her four years at the DSCC she helped raise over $25 million dollars online, developed and managed the DSCC's innovative online marketing program, advised the committee on social media tactics, and worked with Senate campaigns across the country.

    Lizzie's past experience also includes work for the strategy Group, The Child Abuse Prevention Center in Orange County, CA, and a deliciously brief stint as a baker at Buttercake Bakery in Los Angeles, CA. She served in the Peace Corps in the Republic of Kiribati and holds a degree in International Affairs from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

    Martín D. Garcia, Account Manager
    Martín spent the past 3 years with the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund and Institute, the nation's leading organization working to elect and support openly LGBT candidates and officials. As a member of Victory’s political team, Martín coordinated candidate endorsements, and advised and provided resources to campaigns throughout the country at all levels of government. For two years he also managed and sold out GLLI’s highly acclaimed candidate and campaign trainings. He ran successful field programs to help elect the first LGBT people to the Ohio House of Representatives and the Denver and Charlotte City Councils.

    Martín graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Theatre Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a Sagittarius, a California native and (according to Myers-Briggs) an ENFP.

    Ben Holse, Production Assistant
    Before joining The Campaign Workshop, Ben assisted his mother for many years at her small pizzeria. During the 2010 election cycle, he also worked as a Field Organizer with Organizing for America in Kokomo, Indiana. There, he worked with the Howard and Cass County communities to organize canvasses and mobilize volunteers for a variety of Democratic Hoosier candidates.

    Ben graduated summa cum laude from Valparaiso University with a B.A. in political science and history.
