Graphic Design Internship, Summer 2019

This internship position will offer the chance to working in a fast-paced environment and learn the ins and outs of political advertising. Interns are involved in several ways on a number of different projects. Interns will get a broad range of exposure and experiences to projects such as advocacy campaigns, candidates running for office, trainings, and online advertising. Interns are also able to work closely with staff and gain real world design experience that will be invaluable to any graduate seeking employment. As an added bonus, we have a friendly work environment with all the snacks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design of direct mail and static digital ads.

  • Assist in management of social media campaign, blog, and website.

  • Help create content for TCW's blog and content marketing strategy.

  • Participate in and summarize daily staff meetings, distributing concise, accurate notes in a timely manner to team members.

  • Conduct research on broader advertising trends, campaigns and organizations and other issues related to current clients.

  • Conduct search for stock photos to use in mail and digital campaigns.

  • Image management keyword tagging of stock photography.

  • Organize samples of mail and digital campaigns.

  • Other duties as assigned.
