Project Details
The North Carolina Conservation Network worked to create a C3 nonprofit advertising campaign in 2020 with the goal of increasing voter turnout among people of color and infrequent voters using direct mail. Given the COVID-19 pandemic and misinformation around mail-in voting, we provided this audience with a piece of mail with information on how to stay safe at the polls. This political advertising example was very successful - n the end, there was record turnout across North Carolina reaching 75%; a 6-point increase from the 2016 general election.
