Martín Diego Garcia is a Partner (he/him/his) at The Campaign Workshop, where he dedicates his expertise to building a more powerful and representative democracy. With over 17 years in the progressive space—including a decade of leadership at TCW—he specializes in thought partnership and strategic planning for political and advocacy organizations, progressive campaigns, and issue-based nonprofits.
Martín’s core passion is leadership development: giving organization leadership, organizers, staffers, and community leaders the concrete tools to create lasting change. He has personally trained thousands of operatives across all 50 states, equipping them to effectively engage voters, advocate for policy, and run winning campaigns. His work focuses on clarifying ambitious goals and streamlining processes to achieve measurable impact for clients, including the Equality Federation, Run for Something, and the Humane Society Legislative Fund.
His versatile expertise is reflected in a portfolio spanning custom training programs for Blood Cancer United and CFT, long-term strategic support for the National Patient Advocate Foundation and Impact Justice, and multi-channel independent expenditure communications for Georgia Equality, Fair Wisconsin, and Equality North Carolina.
A recognized leader in the field, Martín’s background includes prior leadership roles at re:power (formerly Wellstone Action), Latino Victory Project, and the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund. He is a Google Next Generation Leader and a New Leaders Fellow alumnus. A Southern California native and UC Santa Barbara graduate, Martín is an avid theatre-goer and a proud guncle to Noah and Matthew.
